By putting post-it notes of the various bacterial strains that I need to know a little too much about [well, actually, I'm glad I know all of this now so that I can stop eating and touching anything since it is all COVERED WITH MICROBES!], I am not really accomplishing much... except maybe reminding myself that this surface has probably come in contact with many of the microbes that I'm currently learning about. I think it's time to pull out those Lysol disinfectant wipes for the 100th time today...
Just kidding.
While today was not a particularly good day on the studying front, it was a great day on the AMWA front! Our Board met today to hash out the official AMWA @ OUWB bylaws... and came up with a beautifully formatted, 6-page document that will go through a couple more people then our members for a final vote before being sent off to national AMWA. It's really quite exciting to be part of the founding members of this organization -- hopefully we build a strong foundation for future AMWA members!
I'm sad to see the weekend off so soon, but we do have quite an exciting Genetics-filled week!Labels: AMWA, bylaws, genetics, microbiology, post it notes
